All caregivers are required to undergo Drug Screening. We conduct thorough background checks on all staff members and will not assign anyone to you that we would not assign to our own families.

Part of our hiring procedure is to conduct a thorough background check on each prospective caregiver. Caregivers are bonded while Special Hands Home Care insures all staff to protect against loss. To us, taking care of our employees is important because they take care of you.
Caregivers at Special Hands Home Care are required to complete a multi-phased training program before they are deployed to different assignments.
We also conduct periodic training programs and offer continuing education opportunities for our staff such as specialized training modules for advanced levels of patient care, home care interventions, caregiving techniques and Dementia care.
These training and personnel development programs we have in place with continually hone the skills of our staff and equip them to better care for you and your loved ones.
